Prototypes and Veterinary Ig2000™ Immune Modulation Therapy Units
Since 1999 and the creation of the first Ig2000 Clinical Unit Prototype, Immuno-Genic Corporation has continued to refine its laser therapy device technology and product line. To improve portability for Veterinary and field usage, extended-life 28Ah rechargeable batteries and universal AC/DC power supplies were added along with water resistant cases and mil-spec circuit designs. Custom wavelength Laser Diode Modules were also developed and incorporated into the newly designed Ig devices. The original Vet Units (2000-2008) weighed in at 24 lbs. and the re-designed (2008-2012) units were reduced in weight to just 14 lbs. The portable OcuVet™ along with the newest Ig2000™ designs will weigh in at <8 lbs with a lighter Probe incorporating a newly custom designed “State of the Art” Laser Module with a specialized custom defocusing lens that will give even more spread-beam divergence to the emitted laser light (like a floodlight) than the former spread beam designs. This latest Laser Module design will provide for optimal light coverage to the treated area by increasing the treatment “zone” by approximately 40%, improving resolutions and shortening treatment times. The cordless Physicians Desktop design will also incorporate this new Laser Module and have a programmable base unit. The Probe itself will weigh in at <2lbs. and incorporate 4-6Ah Lithium-ion batteries that will automatically re-charge each time it is placed back into the desktop base unit. Pre-programmable, Physician Prescribable “take-home” units are also on IGC’s design table.
