Treatment Of Wounds

The treatment of wounds with the Ig2000 immune modulation therapy is superior to any other laser therapy modality on the market today. Wounds caused by traumatic injury, surgical incisions, animal bites etc., respond rapidly with or without antibiotics or topical medications. Infection is abated, pain is alleviated, and scarring is minimized to almost non-existent. Re-vascularization begins after the first treatment and by the second to third treatment epithelialiazation is noticeable. One of the most notable observations to wound treatment is the improvement in tissue integrity with less tissue becoming necrotic and the prevention of and/or the sloughing-off of proud flesh. Superior efficacy is also displayed when treating flexible joints like the fetlock, and other flexing areas like the shoulder, forearm, knee and hock.

Pictures line 1 - Subject #1 - shows a 2 week old shoulder wound where sutures had failed to hold previous to any Ig2000 treatments. Picture #2 shows improvement to that wound after just 9 Ig therapies (without sutures).

Pictures line 2 - Subject #2 - shows a 2 week old infected fetlock wound with infection and proud flesh, before Ig2000 therapy. Picture #2 shows the resolution to that wound achieved in just 54 days and 15 Ig therapies.

Pictures line 3 - Subject #3 – shows a large and deep breast wound caused by a fence post (the therapist stated that she could insert her hand into the open wound up to her palm). Ig therapies began the second day after the injury occurred. Ig2000 therapy was the only treatment administered. Picture #2 shows the resolution achieved after only 11 Ig therapies and 26 days. No proud flesh formed and the necrotic tissue sloughed-off. No antibiotics, topicals or gels were administered. Tissue integrity was maintained and improved, and wound contracture was complete. Note that, as with almost all Ig2000 therapies, scarring was minimal and hair re-growth was to its natural color maintaining the good looks and value of the horse.

Pictures line 4 – Subject #4 – shows a large spiraling leg wound received as the horse was attempting to jump an electric fence. Ig2000 therapies began the same day the wound occurred. Again, no antibiotics, topicals or gels were administered. No proud flesh formed. Picture #2 shows the resolution achieved after just 50 days and 20 Ig therapies. Wound contracture was complete and good tissue integrity was maintained throughout the treatment regime with little to no scarring. Hair re-growth was to its natural color.
